Rainbow Circus CIC is a vibrant community interest company operating out of Unit 2E, Delaware Industrial Estate in Gunnislake and serving the South West of England through the joy, creativity and connection of circus arts. Founded in February 2025 by a passionate team of volunteers, Rainbow Circus is built on the belief that circus has the power to bring people together, build confidence and enrich lives.
At its heart, Rainbow Circus is about inclusion, accessibility and community. We are dedicated to making circus training and experiences available to people of all ages and abilities, tailoring workshops, classes and events so everyone can take part and thrive. The team’s person-centred approach ensures that participants — whether trying aerial skills, juggling, hula hoop or performance art for the first time, or exploring more advanced circus disciplines — feel supported, safe and inspired.
Beyond structured classes, Rainbow Circus CIC brings joy and engagement to the wider community through performances, outreach events and collaborative projects. From colourful shows in care homes that spark laughter and participation, to youth-focused sessions that nurture confidence and creativity, they aim to make circus arts not just a spectacle, but a shared experience.
Driven by volunteers and a professional performance team with lived experience of disability and neurodiversity, Rainbow Circus champions an environment where everyone is welcome, valued and encouraged to express themselves. Their commitment to community connection and empowerment shines in every workshop and event, making them a warm and welcoming presence wherever they go.
