28/2/2026 0 Comments 28th February 2026 - Looking over the past few months & celebrating our one year birthday as a CIC!Well, what a wet start to the year we've had! Thankfully, despite Rosie's house getting a hole in the roof - our beautiful Circus space has had no such issue! We've had a great time working away in amongst the Rainbows and settling in to our new Circus home in Gunnislake. This term has seen the return of Little Rainbows, Next Level Rainbows & our Otherwisely Educated Rainbows classes for the children. All the young people have worked super hard and created some amazing pieces of work to brighten up these dark months. Our Adults & Intermediate + Teens have worked equally as hard! We've been looking at multiple disciplines and focusing on conditioning quite a lot recently, which has led to some massive improvements in strength and stamina. Half Term saw a few specialist classes; the return of our Family Social Circus Sessions alongside Circus In A Day & Little Rainbows Circus In A Morning. Everybody worked super hard and their performances were fantastic with rave reviews from the audiences! The end of January closed with Orbital Gathering's Winter Warmer down at Porthtowan Eco Park. A beautiful venue with a. wonderful crowd that well and truly blew the cobwebs off of Winter! As a team, we bought the fire, stilts, UV & Giant bubbles and LED entertainment! See below for some lovely shots from Ruby Pink (@rubyhrpink)
Our Tavistock College Project is coming to an end, with a further update due to be posted shortly after completion! We are incredibly grateful to have received funding from Tavistock Rotary Club for this & can't wait to share some images and feedback from students and staff once we've presented them to our amazing funders. We also received the photos from our Winter Showcase back from our fabulous in-house photographer, Ruby Pink. Shown below are one of our Next Level Rainbow Students, Vivian & a shot from our Liskeard Otherwisely Educated Rainbows group performance. We are incredibly proud of all of our wonderful students and would like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone again for all their hard work, bravery & creativity! Our first Annual Report is due to be sent off soon, and as soon as it is we will obviously share the highlights with you all. For a sneak preview - check out the last blog post with our stakeholders report. It has been such an exciting year, and we are so incredibly proud of our team, students & community. Thank you everyone for all of your support, time and energy. Without you, this community social circus project would not be possible. We cannot wait for another year of Circus adventures with you all! Until next time, please check out our upcoming classes on Groovio, and head over to Upcoming Events to see all the exciting workshops, performances & activities we have planned for the next period of time.
With love, luck & rainbows - Rosie & Zoe ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

24/2/2026 0 Comments Stakeholder consultation 2025/26Thank you to all the participants who replied to our plea and submitted feedback forms this January. Results are in and we are overwhelmed with the responses, so thank you very much! This consultation will be used in future funding applications and to show how our ongoing work benefits the community. Didn't get a chance to submit feedback? No problem, it's not too late! We welcome feedback at any time. Please fill in one of the forms on the "Feedback and Testimonies" section on the website.
Please read the executive summary below or click on the link to see the whole report! Executive Summary: Stakeholder feedback overwhelmingly highlights positive experiences with Rainbow Circus CIC, particularly in classes, coaching, workshops, and community events, with 100% of participants recommending the organization and rating their experience as excellent. Key strengths identified include the appropriate pace and intensity of sessions, safe workshop management, and clear instructions, with zero recorded complaints or accidents. Participants also praised the organization's inclusivity, accessibility, and professionalism, reporting improvements in physical and mental health, including increased confidence, strength, and body awareness. While engagement in performance, demonstrations, open days, and funded projects could be improved, the organization plans to continue adapting activities based on participant feedback to meet evolving needs and interests. 29/10/2025 0 Comments Tavistock Halloween Parade 202518/10/2025 0 Comments Rainbow Circus Open day @Unit 2E!We've been dropping hints on Facebook, giving our followers lots of clues to what our big announcement was going to be. We are super proud to say we've found ourselves a permanent venue for Social Circus classes and activities. We opened our doors for the first time to the public on the 18th of October for free workshops throughout the day and a chance for the community to explore our new unit and have your say. Couldn't make it on the day? You can always call or email to arrange a viewing or informal chat. Huge thank you to everyone who came to see our new space! We hope you are as excited as we are! Big thank you Wickes Plymouth who supplied us with wall and floor paint through their community scheme. And special thanks to all of our team who made this possible from painting floors, buying kettles, building walls and donating your time and energy, without you it wouldn't be possible. Thank you as always to the wonderful @rubyhrpink who took photo's of the day. 24/9/2025 0 Comments Tight Rope Pending!Behind the scenes we've been working on our own custom slack-line/tight rope training rig!
There are a few final adjustments to be made before we can use it...but just check out that Rainbow Circus logo below! Super lucky to have an engineer as part of our volunteer team who donated his time and expertise on this project, so thank you Jake! The Rainbow Circus CIC team were delighted to join Make it Happen CIC's first Folklore Festival in Launceston. We had planned to take over the town square with all things Circus but the weather had other ideas! Rosie Rainbow Circus joined the line-up in Pete's Games with her Morwenna the Singing and Storytelling Mermaid act. Morwenna the Mermaid looked beautiful as she told stories and sang songs for the children. The children even went away with their own bubbles! Sam and Ezra Rainbow took to the town hall stage to demonstrate their awesome skills. Sam and his football freestyle wowed the crowd and Ezra got the laughs with her "That's not a knife" routine! Stilt-walking duo Ezra Rainbow and Rosie Rainbow spread colour throughout the town and our bubble fairy enchanted with a sprinkling of bubble magic. Our fundraising stall in the Town Hall raised £76 with potion making crafts, glitter tattoos, hair strands and goodies. Big thank you to youth circus volunteer Ziggy who was a fantastic potion master! Thanks to all of our team for helping spread rainbow vibes and circus magic wherever we go! Thank you to Make it Happen CIC for inviting us, we had the best time! 15/8/2025 0 Comments Cornwall Tattoo Convention 2025
