Callington MayFest - The Great Pasty Heist, Week One

Week one of "The Great Pasty Heist" workshops funded by Callington CAVe were a roaring success! We had 29 attendees from the local area, and managed to fit in a wide variety of activities. This year, we are hearing up for our performance of "The Great Pasty Heist" on 9th May during the MayFest celebrations. For more information please see HERE.
We opened with some movement games, before splitting up to explore the various disciplines on offer. We looked at Aerial Hoop & Sling on the rig; whilst over in the ground based area participants explored staff, poi, hula hoop, juggling, slackline & pedal-going. 

At the end of the session, we all came together to brain storm ideas for the show & to look at character development. 

NEXT WEEK! Saturday 21st March

We will be back on Saturday 21st March from 2pm - 4pm in Callington Primary School. For this session, we have a specialist workshop with the one and only Eden Le Vell! We will be looking at Flying Pole with Eden, and continuing with our ground based exploration with Pirate brainstorming planned for the end of the session. Hope to see you there!!!
