Tavistock Halloween Parade 2025

We descended upon Tavistock for the second spooktacular annual Halloween Parade!

We took over the Butchers Hall from noon with a creepy Circus Workshop and lots of family activities including face-painting, potion making and more! Our activities fundraised £144.20 for the CIC!

We were joined by @samdoestricks for freaky football freestyle.

Lead by @rosierainbowcircus and Ezra Rainbow on stilts, we marched the ghouls and ghosties of Tavistock through the centre of town!  It was a blast!

Big thanks to Tavistock BID, Tavistock Lions and all of our petrifying participants. See you next year!

Rainbow Circus Open day @Unit 2E!

We've been dropping hints on Facebook, giving our followers lots of clues to what our big announcement was going to be. We are super proud to say we've found ourselves a permanent venue for Social Circus classes and activities.

We opened our doors for the first time to the public on the 18th of October for free workshops throughout the day and a chance for the community to explore our new unit and have your say. Couldn't make it on the day? You can always call or email to arrange a viewing or informal chat.

Huge thank you to everyone who came to see our new space! We hope you are as excited as we are!

Big thank you Wickes Plymouth who supplied us with wall and floor paint through their community scheme.

And special thanks to all of our team who made this possible from painting floors, buying kettles, building walls and donating your time and energy, without you it wouldn't be possible.

Thank you as always to the wonderful @rubyhrpink who took photo's of the day.

Tight Rope Pending!

Behind the scenes we've been working on our own custom slack-line/tight rope training rig!

There are a few final adjustments to be made before we can use it...but just check out that Rainbow Circus logo below!

Super lucky to have an engineer as part of our volunteer team who donated his time and expertise on this project, so thank you Jake!

Borderlands Folklore Festival Launceston

Picture
The Rainbow Circus CIC team were delighted to join Make it Happen CIC's first Folklore Festival in Launceston.

We had planned to take over the town square with all things Circus but the weather had other ideas!

Rosie Rainbow Circus joined the line-up in Pete's Games with her Morwenna the Singing and Storytelling Mermaid act. Morwenna the Mermaid looked beautiful as she told stories and sang songs for the children. The children even went away with their own bubbles!

Sam and Ezra Rainbow took to the town hall stage to demonstrate their awesome skills. Sam and his football freestyle wowed the crowd and Ezra got the laughs with her "That's not a knife" routine!

Stilt-walking duo Ezra Rainbow and Rosie Rainbow spread colour throughout the town and our bubble fairy enchanted with a sprinkling of bubble magic.

Our fundraising stall in the Town Hall raised £76 with potion making crafts, glitter tattoos, hair strands and goodies. Big thank you to youth circus volunteer Ziggy who was a fantastic potion master!

Thanks to all of our team for helping spread rainbow vibes and circus magic wherever we go! Thank you to Make it Happen CIC for inviting us, we had the best time!

Cornwall Tattoo Convention 2025

Rainbow Circus CIC joined the line up in the Circus tent for this year's Cornwall Tattoo Convention. We ran workshops throughout the weekend and joined the wonderful line up of performers, all brought together by Rosie Rainbow Circus!

We want to thank Tom & his amazing crew for all their hard work and facilitation over the weekend. This event is so beautifully run, and it's the highlight of our year every year! What a privilege to be back under @southwestdomes roof entertaining so many beautiful humans of all ages.

This year, the @rainbow_circus_cic crew saw hundreds of people through the door of the tent for circus workshops & @rivkin_delamare's fabulous storytelling sessions.

The crew performed 3 circus shows across the course of the weekend, 3 fire shows (despite the windy conditions!). The entire weekend was just full of joy and beautiful creativity all over site. It was a privilege to bring our amazing circus to such a fab event. Cannot wait for next year!!! I am so proud of each and every one of our performers & crew members, and I cannot wait for the next time we are all together making magic happen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, everyone. Many, many more photos to come (but now to catch up on the laundry )

Photos from @rubyhrpink , @cosmicxposure , @alex.atwill & crew. With so much thanks for your expertise and hard work

Love, luck and rainbows!

Tavistock Fringe Festival 2025

Rainbow Circus CIC brought the magic of the Circus to this years Tavistock Fringe Festival with workshops and performances throughout the day!

There was showstopping aerial performances by Rosie Rainbow Circus and Tegan Blow, football freestyle champion Sam, and magic and object manipulation by Trixy Wizard Circus.

Unfortunately, due to the extreme heat, we experienced technical issues with our equipment. But nothing could flap the fins of Morwenna the Mermaid as she sang and shared stories with a captive audience!

Our stall was open all day providing glitter tattoos, hair strands, sweet treats and games, as well as Circus Props of course!

After a day battling the heat and trying to keep cool we rewarded ourselves with a dip in the River Tavy.
