🎪 THE FIRST EVER SOUTH WEST CIRCUS & JUGGLING CONVENTION! 🤹♀️
Join us on 6th March 2027 at Callington College Sports Centre, PL17 7DR
Throw. Catch. Spin. Swing. Fly. Play. Connect.
Something very exciting is coming to the South West…
Rainbow Circus CIC, in association with Circus Wessex, are bringing you the first ever South West Circus & Juggling Convention — a whole day dedicated to circus, juggling, movement, skill-sharing and, most importantly, having an absolute blast with other circus folk!
Whether you've been juggling for 20 years, you're just learning your first three-ball cascade, you're an aerial addict, an acrobat, a spinner, a circus performer — or you've never picked up a prop in your life — you are welcome here.
This is a convention for all ages, all abilities and all levels of experience.
🤹♂️ TWO ZONES. ONE MASSIVE DAY OF CIRCUS 🤹♂️
Your ticket gives you access to both event zones for the entire day, so you can move between spaces, try different skills, practise, play, learn and meet fellow circus enthusiasts.
🎪🤹♂️ THE CIRCUS & JUGGLING ZONE 🤹♂️🎪
Grab your favourite props and get involved!
Expect a buzzing space for juggling, object manipulation, circus skills, practice, games, skill-sharing and generally making things fly through the air.
Bring your balls, clubs, rings, diabolo, poi, hoops, staff, flower sticks, devil sticks — whatever your circus obsession happens to be!
And if you don't have a favourite prop yet?
Come and discover one!
There will be opportunities to learn, practise, swap tips, challenge yourself and pick up new tricks from other members of the circus community.
🤸♀️ THE AERIAL & ACRO ZONE 🤸♀️
Fancy getting off the ground?
Our separate hall gives aerialists and acrobats dedicated space to train, practise, play and explore.
From aerial skills to acrobatics and movement, this is your opportunity to spend the day developing your skills in a dedicated circus environment.
Whether you're polishing something you've been working on for months or having your first go at something completely new, there's space to experiment and learn.
🏆 Friendly Competitions 🏆
Think you've got what it takes to become the convention champion?
Throughout the day we'll be running a selection of friendly circus and juggling competitions and challenges. Expect some serious skills, some wonderfully silly challenges, plenty of friendly rivalry and lots of cheering from the sidelines!
There'll be opportunities for different ages and abilities to get involved, so whether you're a seasoned juggler or you've only just discovered circus, come and have a go!
And, of course, there may be a few prizes and some serious bragging rights up for grabs...
🎭 And Then... The Evening Show! 🎭
When the daytime convention comes to an end, the circus doesn't stop!
We're delighted to be bringing everyone together for a special evening circus performance, showcasing talented artists and performers. Sit back and enjoy an exciting evening of circus, juggling, aerial, acrobatics and more, performed by some fantastic talent from across the South West and beyond. There will be slots available for performers to sign up to on the day, but get in quick! The perfect opportunity for testing a new act in front of a crowd or even bringing something tried and tested just to share. It's the perfect way to finish a day of learning, playing, experimenting and making new friends.
🌈 COME FOR THE CIRCUS. STAY FOR THE COMMUNITY 🌈
Juggling conventions aren't just about juggling.
They're about the people.
They're about walking into a room and seeing someone doing a trick you've always wanted to learn. They're about asking, "How did you do that?" and discovering that people are more than happy to show you.
They're about swapping tips, trying ridiculous challenges, discovering new disciplines, cheering each other on, making friends and spending a whole day surrounded by people who understand why "just one more trick" can turn into another three hours of practice!
The South West has an incredible circus community — and we're bringing everyone together under one roof.
Come and throw something. Come and catch something. Come and learn something. Come and make something happen.
Most importantly…
Come and be part of the very first South West Circus & Juggling Convention.
